To let you know a little about myself, I am a wife, (been married for almost 14 years now) and a mommy to two precious little's. My family and I live in upstate NY, but are originally from Jersey baby, home of the fist pump. We live in what is called the Hollow, because of all the trees that surround us. We have a pet cat that we rescued that I let my kids name, "Owl" and our newest member a chocolate Labrador that I named, (there is a reason for that) "Porter". They complete our little family.
At present I am a jack of all trades kind of mom. I run my own business out of my home as a mobile notary performing loan closings, I homeschool both my children, and my family and I are volunteer Bible teachers as Jehovah's Witnesses. Some details about me are:
I enjoy the outdoors, fishing, hiking, sitting by a campfire.
I love cooking & baking healthy meals for our family.
The creative vibe runs very strong through my veins, whether its DIY projects, party planning, or homemade recipes. About a year in a half ago my husband and I changed our lifestyle for the sake of our health and between us both we have lost 120 lbs. We now pursue a healthy and natural way of living.
A little understanding behind our blog name and why we chose it is: Home (represents Homeschooling & our family) Seed (Essential Oils come from seeds, My kids are seedlings, Growing & Cooking with healthy fruits & veggies originating all from seeds) Hollow (our simple little home abides in the Hollow surrounded by tall beautiful hollow trees)
